Associates will explore theoretical approaches to shaping organisations vision, culture and values and develop a critical understanding of organisational structure and approaches to business modelling. This module also develops critical knowledge of strategies for continuous improvement.
Associates study methods of leadership and management of people within organisations including approaches to talent management and people development, critically evaluating their utility and application to their context.
This module considers approaches to innovation including creativity, intrapreneurial and entrepreneurial behaviour and enterprise development. Associates will evaluate approaches to executing and evaluating change whilst developing their understanding of influencing and negotiating as part of this process.
Approaches to operations are explored and critically analysed, including the management of resources and operations: the supply chain, procurement, logistics, quality systems, and project management.
During their Research Project Associates critically evaluate their learning from the programme and have the opportunity to conduct research and enquiry into leadership and management issues, rigorously applying this knowledge to their individual context and setting.
Work in this module also feeds into Associates completion of the apprenticeship qualification where they can use the findings and conclusions to inform the Strategic Business Proposal element of their End Point Assessment to bring about change and development in their organisation.
